JUST ANNOUNCED: ADDAMS FAMILY (YAP) – COMING OCTOBER 2026

 

We’re thrilled to announce another exciting addition to our 2026 lineup - THE ADDAMS FAMILY, hitting Theatre Severn in October 2026!

​

This announcement is for young performers aged 8 –18 (at the time of auditions), who will be given the chance to shine as they bring to life all the iconic characters in this extremely popular modern musical.

​

We are actively seeking passionate and talented children to join us for this incredible production - a fantastic opportunity to perform on stage and be part of something a little spooky at Halloween!

​Auditions held Monday 27th October 4.30-5.30 and Wednesday 29th October 4.30-5.30pm

Our talented young cast will bring to life all the iconic roles in this modern musical, which is packed with unforgettable songs and exciting moments for every cast member to shine.

AUDITIONS OPEN TO ALL!

​

Auditions are open to current Wigle members as well as new members - this is a fantastic opportunity to get involved in one of our exciting productions! All those wishing to take part are required to attend an audition workshop. You can sign up for the workshop using the form at the bottom of this page.

 

GROUP AUDITION WORKSHOP

At the group audition, children will:

  • Learn a short dance routine

  • Take part in group drama activities

  • Participate in group singing

This gives us a chance to see everyone in action and make sure every child feels confident and supported.

PRINCIPAL ROLE AUDITIONS (VIDEO SUBMISSION)

Those wishing to be considered for principal roles are also asked to submit a video audition via WhatsApp no later than Monday 27th October at 7pm.

ROLES TO BE CAST:

Addams Family is bursting with fantastic opportunities, featuring solo singing and speaking roles for over 20 young performers.

​

For this exciting production, we are looking to cast talented children aged 8 to 18 (age at time of audition), who will take to the stage at Theatre Severn. Please note this version of the show includes larger roles for the ensemble with more solo opportunities.
