We are so excited to present Applause – A Celebration of 15 Years of Get Your Wigle On, taking place in the main auditorium this summer!
This one-off concert is a unique opportunity to take part in a high-energy, feel-good celebration that showcases the music, memories, and magic of our journey so far. Featuring a handpicked selection of showstopping numbers from our catalogue of productions over the past 15 years - from West End classics to Wigle fan favourites... Applause promises to be a night to remember.
We had planned a big celebration for our 10th anniversary, but as many of you will remember, the pandemic brought those plans to a halt. So this summer, we’re going even bigger - celebrating not only 15 incredible years of theatre, but also everything we’ve overcome together as a community.

We are casting a small group of committed and enthusiastic performers to form our Applause company. This is a fantastic chance to perform a range of musical theatre numbers and celebrate everything we've achieved together over the last 15 years.
Audition worksop is open to students ages 8 - 15. Please note: this opportunity is open to current students of Get Your Wigle On only.

Auditions will take place on Tuesday 20th May.
This is your chance to be part of something special!
There will be a one off audition fee of £3.00 to attend the workshop on 20th May
💷 PRODUCTION PARTICIPATION FEE
For those successful, there will be a one-off rehearsal fee of £15.00 to take part in Applause + a one off t-shirt fee of approx £16 to wear for the performance. (this is an exclusive t-shirt available this summer only!)
Why is the rehearsal fee so low? Because it’s a celebration! We want to make this event as accessible as possible for all.
🗓️ REHEARSALS
Students applying must be aware that this is a fast-turnaround project with only 5 rehearsals. Preparations will require commitment both in and out of the studio.

First rehearsal: Tuesday 3rd June

Weekly rehearsals: Tuesdays, 5:00 - 6:15pm

1 x Sunday rehearsal 29th June 2.00pm - 4.00pm
PERFORMANCE INFO:
Performance will take place at Theatre Severn's main auditorium on Sunday 6th July 2025. Students will attend a rehearsal at the Theatre from 2.00 - 6.00pm during the daytime, followed by their performance at 7.00pm.
