ABOUT THE show

Based on the original Broadway production that ran for over thirteen years and was nominated for nine Tony Awards, and the Academy Award-winning motion picture, Disney’s Beauty and the Beast is a fantastic adaptation of the story of transformation and tolerance. The show features some of the most popular songs ever written by Alan Menken and the late Howard Ashman, along with new songs by Mr. Menken and Tim Rice.

The classic story tells of Belle, a young woman in a provincial town, and the Beast, who is really a young prince trapped under the spell of an enchantress. If the Beast can learn to love and be loved, the curse will end and he will be transformed to his former self. But time is running out. If the Beast does not learn his lesson soon, he and his household will be doomed for all eternity.

CAST LIST:

A huge THANK YOU to all those who auditioned for 'The Beauty & the Beast'. We apologise for the extended delay in announcing the cast list.

As always, we were blown away by the talent and standard of the auditions. We would like to thank each auditionee for their time & commitment toward their audition prep. If you watched Les Mis - we are certain you will agree that the standard from our teen performers is incredibly high. We are thrilled with our cast list and cannot wait to begin rehearsals this Friday!

A polite note: Due to high turn out and talent, there are some who were sadly unsuccessful in gaining a place within the company of Beauty and the Beast. Whilst we understand some of you may be eager to share the news of your success across social media, we encourage you to remain sensitive and kind to those who did not make it.

First rehearsal Friday 1st December at the Quarry Studios.
