ABOUT THE SHOW: SIX: TEEN EDITION
 

We are thrilled to bring SIX: TEEN EDITION to the stage this December at the Barnes Theatre! A powerful celebration of girl power and history remixed, SIX is a pop-concert-style musical that gives voice to the six wives of Henry VIII like you’ve never seen before. Get ready for an unforgettable experience!

ABOUT REHEARSALS & FEES

​

Rehearsals will be held:

• Every Wednesday evening from 6:30 - 7:30pm at our studio

• Two additional Sunday rehearsals:

  • 🗓 Sunday 30th November (from 3pm)

  • 🗓 Sunday 7th December (from 3pm)

All performers must be available for the Wednesday rehearsals during term time and both Sunday sessions. (We may also look at a date in the summer holidays to rehearse if we can bring all our queens together!)
 

Class Fees:
There will be a weekly charge for rehearsals, invoiced in two parts. This includes two Wednesday rehearsals in the Summer Term, eight Wednesday rehearsals in the Winter Term and two additional rehearsals which will be held on the Sundays listed above.
 

ROLES & CASTING

We will be casting 12 performers to portray the iconic queens – with the show double cast across two teams... Team Divorced and Team Beheaded!

This is an exciting opportunity to take on roles that demand vocal power, confidence, charisma, and strong ensemble energy. With only six performers on stage at a time, we’re looking for standout talent who bring professionalism, stage maturity, and dedication to every rehearsal.

• Team Divorced will perform:
  🗓 Saturday 13th December at 4:00pm
  🗓 Sunday 14th December at 11:00am
   

• Team Beheaded will perform:
  🗓 Saturday 13th December at 7:00pm
  🗓 Sunday 14th December at 3:00pm
   

Please note: If performances sell well, we may add two additional shows:
Team Divorced – Sunday 14th December at 7:00pm
Team Beheaded – Saturday 13th December at 12:00pm

ABOUT THE AUDITIONS

Audition Dates:
🗓 Wednesday 18th June (option 1)
🗓 Wednesday 25th June (option 2)
 

🎤 What to Prepare for Auditions

• Please prepare a 90-second section from any of the queens’ solo songs from SIX to perform - all songs must be sung in a British accent.

• You may prepare up to two songs, and we recommend selecting contrasting pieces to showcase your vocal range, versatility, and performance style.

• We strongly encourage you to choose the most vocally demanding section of the song - the part that really shows what you can do. For example, if you’re singing Heart of Stone, we expect to hear the final belt section, not the simpler intro. The same goes for all the queens' songs: pick the powerhouse moments!

This show calls for confident, bold performers with strong voices - so bring your best and aim high!

This is a high-demand production with strong competition expected. We’re looking for versatile, committed performers ready to give it their all!
 

COSTUME

All costumes will be provided. Cast members will only need to supply flesh-coloured stage tights.

HOW TO AUDITION
