About Us
Welcome to the wonderful world of Get Your Wigle On!
Founded in 2010, we’ve grown into one of Shropshire’s leading musical theatre companies, combining a fun, community-focused ethos with exceptional performance opportunities.
We are proud to offer a safe, welcoming, and creative environment for individuals of all ages and backgrounds. Whether you’re stepping on stage for the first time, rekindling a passion, or developing a young performer’s skills, our classes, workshops, and productions provide the perfect platform to build confidence, skills, and friendships.
Today, WIGLE produces multiple full-scale productions each year, runs a wide range of training sessions, and takes part in countless community events. From award-winning shows to fun-packed holiday workshops, we celebrate the joy of musical theatre at every level.
Our motto, #lovelife, is more than just a phrase – it’s the heartbeat of everything we do. At GYWO, we don’t just teach theatre skills; we inspire a love for life through the arts.

Our Story
Our journey began in 2010 with Little Shop of Horrors – the very first community production to take to the Main Stage at the newly opened Theatre Severn. With a cast of just 12, the show received glowing reviews and proved there was a real appetite in Shropshire for locally produced, high-quality musical theatre.
This enthusiasm grew quickly. When we held auditions for young performers for The Wizard of Oz, over 120 children queued up to take part. That overwhelming response cemented our commitment to nurturing local talent and set the foundations for the thriving creative hub GYWO is today.
Since then, our team has expanded from co-founders James Broxton and Ross Wigley to a dynamic group of professionals passionate about inspiring, training, and creating. Many of our alumni have gone on to drama schools and professional careers, while countless others have discovered a lifelong love of performing, teamwork, and community spirit through our projects.
As we look to the future, we’re excited to continue staging spectacular productions, developing new sessions, and making musical theatre an integral part of Shropshire’s cultural landscape – all while staying true to our values of creativity, inclusivity, and sustainability.
