We are excited to announce auditions for the roles of Jeremy and Jemima in our upcoming production of Chitty Chitty Bang Bang.

We are seeking children with a playing age of 8–10 who have strong singing ability, good stage confidence and the warmth and energy required for these much-loved roles.
​
We will be announcing opportunities for a larger junior ensemble in the coming weeks - but please know there will be ample opportunity for those that wish to join in this fabulous production.

AUDITIONS OPEN TO ALL

Auditions are open to current Wigle members as well as new performers. This is an excellent opportunity for young performers to take part in one of our most magical and family-focused productions.

PRINCIPAL ROLE AUDITION (VIDEO SUBMISSION)
Those wishing to be considered for the roles of Jeremy or Jemima are required to submit a video audition via WhatsApp. 07450 267136.

Following this deadline we will hold face to face callbacks with those selected.

Video Requirements
Please submit a video of your child singing upto 1 min 45sec of Truly Scrumptious, as well as reading the dialogue.

Songs must be performed to a backing track. Please do not submit a cappella performances or recordings sung along with guide vocals.

At the start of the video, please clearly state the child’s full name, age and whether they are auditioning for Jeremy or Jemima.

ABOUT THE ROLES
Jeremy and Jemima Potts are bright, imaginative and enthusiastic children who help bring the story’s adventure to life. We are looking for performers who:

Have a playing age of 8 – 10 (this means we will accept auditions from performers who could appear this age on stage.)

Have clear and confident singing ability

Work well in a team and follow direction

Show strong focus and enthusiasm

Can portray expressive and engaging characters on stage​

Have the ability to learn lines.
​
We will be selecting 2 teams of children to work with our adult company on this production. The children selected will rehearse alongside our adult cast and will be required to attend rehearsals on Tuesday evenings 7.30pm - 8.30pm. The children will be given a rehearsal schedule and may not be required every week. Closer to the production they may need to stay later for full show runs as well as attending company rehearsals on 3 Sunday afternoons leading up to the production.
